1. Data you enter into the tools

The JSON Formatter, Base64 Encoder/Decoder and UUID Generator process your input locally using JavaScript in your browser. The text you paste, type or generate:

• is never sent to our servers or any third party;
• is not saved — it disappears when you close or reload the page;
• is not logged, analysed or used for any other purpose.

2. Information stored on your device

If you choose a light or dark theme, that preference is saved in your browser's local storage under the key theme so it is remembered next time. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings. Selecting “System” removes it.

DevNest does not use cookies.

3. Clipboard access

The Copy and Paste buttons use your browser's clipboard only when you click them. Your browser may ask for permission before allowing a paste. We never read your clipboard in the background.

4. Analytics, tracking and advertising

DevNest does not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising networks or third-party scripts. Fonts are served from the same site, so loading a page does not contact external font services.

5. Hosting and server logs

Like any website, the server or hosting provider that delivers these pages may automatically record standard technical information for each request — such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request — for security and reliability. These logs never contain the data you enter into the tools, because that data is never sent to the server.

6. Children's privacy

DevNest is a general-purpose developer tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date above will change accordingly.
